We celebrated Zeke's first birthday with our dear friends the Ecks. It was wonderful! I think Zeke thoroughly enjoyed his party and didn't even notice that we didn't have dessert - I had forgotten about it. We don't eat dessert all that often. Oops - probably won't get away with that again at Zeke's birthday party!
But the Ecks were very gracious and didn't seem to mind either. It was a wonderful evening!
